spring break

Tomorrow, I will be departing for Chicago, Illinois. I will be there for a few days with the band.

This will be one of the first times I've really traveled with my camera. I am only taking the 350D and the 50mm, all a photographer needs, right?

I'm really excited and hopefully I'll bring home some good shots.

A couple days after that, I will be driving down to Topsail Island to spend the rest of spring break with my friends. I'll be taking my camera down there, as well. Again, 350D + 50mm will be the go-to guy.

So yeah, it'll be a busy spring break, but it will be fun.

PhotoShelter + $5,000

A few months ago, I was accepted into a stock agency called PhotoShelter Collection. Go ahead and click the link and check it out.

This was a big step for me. After being accepted into SCAD, and even more recently being awarded a $5,000 per year scholarship, this just makes me feel good. It makes me feel accomplished as a photographer.

But I am still learning.
